10-Minute Home Workouts for Busy Moms: Why Short Sessions Count
By Rebel Fitness Coaching Team· 4 min read

Current physical activity guidelines no longer require exercise to happen in sessions of at least 10 minutes. Movement adds up across the day, so a short workout is far better than skipping one.
A simple 10-minute full-body circuit
Do each move for 40 seconds, rest 20 seconds, and repeat the circuit twice:
- Bodyweight squats (or sit-to-stands)
- Incline push-ups on the counter
- Glute bridges
- Standing band rows (or backpack rows)
- Dead bugs (slow and controlled)
Tips to make it stick
- Attach it to a habit: right after brushing teeth or while the coffee brews.
- Lay out your mat the night before.
- Let the kids join. Toddlers love copying squats.
- Count any win. Even 5 minutes keeps the habit alive.
Make it harder or easier
Easier: fewer rounds, higher surface for push-ups. Harder: add weights, slow the tempo, or do three rounds.
